Our 2026 Festival has now conlcuded. 2027 applications will open in the new year.

What is a vendor?

Fringe vendors are any type of artisan vendor, crafter, or powered food truck, interested in a spot to sell their products outside at the Saskatoon Fringe Festival.

Types of Saskatoon vendor opportunities include:

Food vendors – Licensed, powered food trucks.
Please note: we are currently reviewing our food vendors application processes and the type of vendors allowed. More information coming soon.

Artisan Vendors – Crafters, artists, non-profits, and small businesses selling their wares and services or promoting their organization.
Artisan vendors can choose between becoming a full-Festival vendor for all 10 days of the Fringe, or joining us only for the August long weekend. Artisan vendors may not sell items that could be classified as a food vendor product.

Broadway Businesses – Local businesses that operate year-round on or around Broadway Avenue and would like to host an outdoor booth during our Fringe Broadway Days over the August long weekend.

Community Organizations – To help platform the important work that happens in our community, non-profits and local services providers are invited directly to participate for one day of the Festival each year at no cost to themselves. Application Process

When reviewing artisan vendor applications, we will be focused on:

exposing our patrons to a variety of art forms,
ensuring a quality experience for our patrons, and
providing a safe and respectful environment for our patrons, other artists, volunteers, and staff.

Fee timelines

Please note, the following timelines and fees applied to the 2026 Fringe. These may vary for the 2027 Fringe.

If you are signing up for our three-day Broadway option, the fee is $300.00

If you are signing up for our full festival option, the fee is $420.00

If you need to withdraw, a full refund is available up until June 30th, 2026. No refunds will be issued after July 1st, 2026.

Booth location

For Full Fringers: 11th Street East will play host to up to 30 artisan vendors for the duration of the Festival. Each artisan is allotted a 10′ x 10′ space, and we will be placing vendors on the north side of 11th Street East with a handful of vendors potentially being placed in front of the Cosmo Seniors’ Centre.

For Three Day Fringers: You will be allocated a space on Broadway.

What support can I expect from the Saskatoon Fringe Festival?

We want your customer engagement to be a huge success, so we will help as much as we are able. That said, we are a small staff serving many artists across a broad spectrum so our capacity is limited.

At this time, we are happy to provide the following services for our artisans:

on-site security**
promotion on our social media accounts
designated loading and unloading zones
regular site maintenance including trash removal
discount on Fringe merch and artist pricing in the licensed area

**We strongly recommend that artisans remove anything of value from their booth every evening. While we do have overnight site security, they cannot be everywhere at once, and we are not responsible for anything that may go missing or be damaged if it is left on the site overnight.

Will you provide access to electricity? A pop up tent? Tables? Chairs?

Unfortunately no, we are not able to provide these things for our artisans. It is your responsibility to bring what you will need in order to have a successful experience.

Can I sell food?

Unfortunately no, we do not allow artisan vendors to sell ready-to-eat products.

What happens if it rains?

Rain or shine, the Fringe goes on!

Should the weather devolve to a state where the Festival can no longer operate safely, The Theatre reserves the right to cancel the Festival in whole or in part due to weather circumstances which jeopardize the health and safety of the Vendor, Festival staff, Festival volunteers, and/or Festival patrons.

There are no refunds issued for any cancellation due to inclement weather.

Broadway Businesses are invited to join us at the Saskatoon Fringe Festival for our Broadway Days sponsored by the Broadway Business Improvement District!

Registration will open in summer 2027.

There is no fee associated for Broadway Businesses wishing to participate in these days.
July 31st – August 2nd (11:30 AM – 9:30 PM).

On these days, the Fringe expands to include two blocks of Broadway Avenue between 10th Street East and 12th Street East. Broadway businesses located within this footprint are welcome to host a booth/patio etc. outside of their storefronts. Other Broadway Businesses not located within the two blocks are still invited to sign up at no cost, and we will find a location for you on the street.
