Full Metal Comedy (FMC) features producers Shawn Cuthand and Danny Knight who have been doing comedy for 7 years in Treaty 6 Territory. They produce an open mic show that started as The Funny Bone Schmomedy Zone and turned into Full Metal Comedy after they branded their 2023 fringe show of the same name. That same year, FMC took home best local show. Both Danny Knight and Shawn Cuthand are also writers and actors on the web series The Feather News founded by Ryan Moccasin which can be seen on APTN Lumi. The show also features other local YXE comedians who come out and grind their gears at the Full Metal Comedy Open Mic at Black Cat Tavern every second Thursday. Featured comedian Cheyenna Sapp is from Little Pine First Nation and has been seen on the CTV Comedy show “Acting Good.” Ryan Moccasin is a writer/producer/stand up comedian from Saskatoon, SK. He has recently performed at comedy festivals in Palm Springs, Houston and New York. He is also the founder and executive producer/writer of The Feather News which is currently working on a season 2 for APTN Lumi. We will also feature deadly guest hosts from the local YXE comedy scene.

Puppetry and the cast’s performances bring to life diverse stories taking place in otherworldly settings, from remote islands to the Australian countryside. The script is styled in a verbatim documentary-theatre format – culminating in a finale with a local twist.
