A Message From Past GM – Karen Jeffery:
My time at 25th Street Theatre is filled with many wonderful memories that I hold very dear. I know it’s been many years since I last was there, but I cherish all that that place and time held for me. I look back fondly and realize how much 25th Street contributed to my growth as a person, and as an artist. It continues to inspire me to this day.
I’m especially grateful for the dedication to new Canadian work that was brought into the light, with some particular favorites; Percy’s Edge, and One More Time. And let’s not forget about the Fringe Festival.
I now run my own little theatre, in a tiny little town, and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t draw on experiences, and get inspired by the memories. What remains the nearest to my heart though, are all the incredibly talented and dedicated people that made that little theatre, and the theatre community in Saskatoon go round – and thrive. I was too young with big stars in my eyes back then to fully appreciate the magnitude of the impact that 25th Street Theatre made on me, and countless others. I truly look forward to our paths crossing again.

A Message From Board President – Jennifer Nairn
25th Street Theatre is widely known for producing the Fringe Festival, but we have also gone back to our roots to become a producing theatre company again. This has meant tackling shows that have a lot of heart and meaning and address important issues in our community. Shows like, Luna, Men Express Their Feelings, and The Art of French Cooking, in last year’s season were enthusiastically embraced by the theatre community and patrons, and we look forward to continuing to produce such innovative and interesting projects.
On top of being Board Chairperson I am also a volunteer, patron, and donor for 25th Street Theatre and a supporter of the arts in Saskatoon. I can tell you from my experience that every dollar matters.
We appreciate the support of each and every one of our donors, and we hope that you will consider supporting us in our plans for an exciting 2024-25 season”
